Key Responsibilities
1. Blood Hamper & Inventory Management
- Prepare blood bank hampers according to SOPs
- Collect and deliver blood hampers
- Pack and organize received stock
- Conduct accurate stock counts
- Maintain inventory standards
2. Waste Disposal & Safety
- Dispose of bio-hazardous waste safely
- Follow strict health and safety regulations
- Maintain a contamination-free laboratory environment
3. General Laboratory Support
- Perform daily laboratory support duties
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces
- Assist with operational tasks as required
4. SHEQ Compliance
- Follow Safety, Health, Environment & Quality standards
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Support quality assurance objectives
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this SANBS vacancy, candidates must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Mathematics
- At least one Science subject
