Successful candidates will work in a cash processing environment, assisting with cash handling, deposit processing, reconciliation, and other operational duties while gaining hands-on experience in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cash Processor, your duties may include:

Receiving and processing cash deposits on company systems
Checking containers or bags for damage and reporting any irregularities
Sorting and counting banknotes and coins accurately
Processing deposits according to bank service level agreements (SLAs)
Performing daily balancing and reconciliation of cash
Identifying counterfeit, damaged, or rejected notes
Processing payroll, coin deposits, and treasury cash preparation
Maintaining equipment and reporting any faults
Following company policies and security procedures

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the SBV YES4Youth Learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 (Matric)
6 months cashier or teller experience (advantageous)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced cash processing environment
