About TETA Skills Development Programmes

The Transport Education Training Authority (TETA) empowers unemployed youth and sector employees by facilitating skills development in South Africa’s transport sector. Funded by the Department of Higher Education and Training, TETA offers learnerships, bursaries, internships, and skills programmes in fields like Freight Handling, Logistics, and Road Transport, aligning with the National Skills Development Plan (NSDP).

Programme Purpose

TETA’s programmes aim to build a globally competitive workforce, develop sector skills plans, facilitate learnerships and skills programmes, approve workplace skills plans, disburse grants, and ensure quality education and training. Include a CV, certified copies of your ID, qualifications (Grade 12, diploma/degree, or acceptance letter for bursaries), and proof of residence (certified within the last 6 months). Specify the programme (e.g., Learnership: Freight Handling, Bursary: BCom Transport Economics). Incomplete applications or late submissions will not be considered.
