Starting in October 2025, this opportunity gives young South Africans the chance to gain an accredited qualification, practical experience, and a monthly stipend of R3,500.


About the Programme

The Food & Beverage Services Learnership blends theory with practice, preparing learners for a successful career in hospitality. The programme includes:

  • Classroom Learning – Training in food service, hospitality standards, and customer care.
  • On-the-Job Training – Hands-on experience in restaurants, hotels, and event venues.
  • Mentorship – Guidance and support from industry professionals.
  • Monthly Stipend – Learners earn R3,500 for full participation.
  • Accredited Qualification – National Certificate: Food & Beverage Services (Level 4, CATHSSETA-accredited).

Who Can Apply

To qualify for this learnership, applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens, aged 18–35.
  • Reside in the Western Cape (Cape Town).
  • Be unemployed at the time of application.
  • Hold a Matric certificate or a Grade 11 school report (certified within 6 months).
  • Submit a CV and a certified copy of ID (within 6 months).
  • Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
