Job Summary:

Netcare is seeking a Pharmacy Stock Controller to maintain optimal stock levels across the hospital and pharmacy, with a focus on the Cardiac Theatre. This role ensures efficient inventory management, supports hospital divisions, and drives patient service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control pharmacy, theatre, and ward stock levels.
• Track usage trends and forecast future demand.
• Place stock orders and manage consignment inventory.
• Maintain accurate records using SAP, Orderwise, and other inventory systems.
• Supervise, train, and support stock clerks and learners.
• Conduct regular stock audits, FIFO rotation, and manage slow-moving or expired stock.
• Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and pharmacy staff to coordinate inventory efforts.
• Ensure compliance with Netcare stock policies, KPIs, and Green Procurement principles.
• Manage hospital stores and replenishment systems for wards, theatres, and units.

Requirements:

• Experience in hospital pharmacy stock management or healthcare inventory control.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work across multiple hospital divisions and adapt to changing demands.
• Knowledge of SAP and other hospital inventory systems is advantageous.
