Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will assist with rodent control and environmental health awareness programmes within local communities. Duties include:

• Conducting door-to-door education campaigns and household surveys within assigned wards
• Providing information on rodent control and environmental health matters
• Distributing educational pamphlets to residents
• Mobilising community members for awareness campaigns and block meetings
• Following up on rodent-infested premises and reporting findings
• Working closely with Environmental Health Practitioners
• Participating in community education and awareness campaigns
• Inspecting a minimum of 30 premises per day
• Maintaining attendance registers and programme records
• Recording the number of properties visited and pamphlets distributed
• Conducting health talks and assisting with community meetings
