About the Learnership Programme

Successful candidates will participate in a structured 12-month Chemical Plant Machine Operator Learnership that combines classroom-based learning with practical workplace experience.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Educational Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Mathematics and Physical Science as subjects

Skills Required

  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be between 22 and 30 years old
  • Be currently unemployed
  • Have never participated in a learnership programme before
  • Reside in Meyerton or surrounding communities within a 40km radius of the Mid-Vaal Facility, including:
    • Sicelo
    • Evaton
    • Tembisa Park
    • Nearby surrounding areas
