Purpose of the Firefighter Position

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
• IFSAC Accredited Certification
• NFPA 1001 Firefighter Level 2 Certification
• Firefighter II Qualification
• Minimum of 2–3 years firefighting experience
• Valid Code C1 Driver’s Licence with PrDP
• Valid EMT Certification
• First Aid Level 1, 2 and 3
• Basic Ambulance Attendant Qualification
