ADvTECH is seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Cleaner / Laundry Worker to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across facilities and handling laundry
duties efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Clean classrooms, offices, bathrooms, and shared areas
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items
- Operate cleaning and laundry equipment safely
- Inspect laundry for stains or damage and report any issues
- Maintain clean and organised work areas
- Use cleaning and laundry supplies responsibly
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Assist with additional cleaning or support duties when required
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 10 qualification (Grade 12 advantageous)
- Previous cleaning or laundry experience is an advantage
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
- Able to lift and carry laundry or cleaning equipment
- Willing to work flexible hours
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and laundry procedures
- Honest, responsible, and trustworthy
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
