Internship Benefits

Available Internships
1. Community Halls Administration
- Department: Community Services & Public Amenities
- Eligibility:
- Grade 12 or higher (NQF Level 4)
- Bachelor’s/National Diploma in Public Administration or Public Management (NQF 6/7)
- ≤35 years old
- First-time intern
- Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily operations of community halls
- Perform light physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and pushing trolleys
- Develop office and community-service skills
2. Waste Management
- Eligibility:
- Grade 12+
- Bachelor’s/National Diploma in Waste Management, Environmental Management, or related field
- ≤35 years old
- First-time intern
- Responsibilities:
- Support waste collection schedules, recycling, and clean-up programmes
- Gain field experience in environmental management
3. Beach Amenities
- Eligibility:
- Grade 12+
- Bachelor’s/National Diploma in Environmental Management or Horticulture
- ≤35 years old
- First-time intern
- Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and improving beach facilities
- Learn about landscaping, coastal management, and visitor services
