The Road Accident Fund is offering an exciting Internship: Office of the RGM opportunity in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. This 18-month internship programme is designed to develop unemployed graduates and provide valuable workplace experience in office administration and corporate support services.

💰 Stipend:

R96,000 per annum (monthly stipend)

📌 Internship Purpose:

This programme aims to equip young graduates (18–25 years) with practical experience in office management, administration, and corporate support within the Road Accident Fund.

🧾 Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update document registers
  • Handle stakeholder queries and follow-ups
  • Provide general office administration and data capturing support
  • Manage diaries and schedules
  • Assist with meetings, appointments, and events
  • Draft and proofread emails, memos, and reports
  • Answer and direct calls and correspondence
  • Maintain filing systems (electronic and physical)
  • Assist with travel arrangements
  • Record and distribute meeting minutes
  • Support small projects and events
  • Manage office supplies and inventory

🎓 Requirements:

  • NQF Level 6 Diploma in Office Management, Administration, or Information & Corporate Management
  • Certified copy of ID
  • Certified academic transcript
  • Updated CV and motivational letter

💡 Competencies Required:

  • Confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good communication (written & verbal)
  • Office etiquette and discipline

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • Applicants must be unemployed and aged 18–25
  • No prior internship or employment in the same field
  • Maximum of 3 applications allowed per applicant
  • Only the first 100 applications will be considered
  • SAQA evaluation required for foreign qualifications
  • Security vetting will be conducted
  • Preference given to People with Disabilities (Employment Equity)
