Cell C is inviting ambitious graduates to apply for its Graduate Internship Programme 2025 / 2026, a flagship initiative under the Cell C Emerging Talent Programme. This opportunity is designed to develop young professionals into future leaders of the telecommunications sector.

Key Responsibilities

Graduates accepted into the programme will:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations, project tasks, and administrative duties.
  • Conduct research, compile reports, and analyse data to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate on innovative solutions to address business challenges.
  • Participate in team meetings, workshops, and organisational initiatives.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders while working under guidance.
  • Maintain learning logs, progress reports, and milestone tracking.
  • Represent the company with professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.

1. Information Technology (IT) and Cyber Security

  • BSc in Computer Science / Information Technology
  • BSc in Cyber Security / Information Security
  • Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Information Security
  • BEng in Computer or Software Engineering
  • Bachelor of Information Systems
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Cyber Security
  • Certifications: CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH

2. Forensic Investigation

  • BCom in Forensic Accounting / Forensic Auditing
  • BCom in Law (Criminal or Commercial Law)
  • Bachelor of Forensic Science
  • National Diploma in Forensic Investigation
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Fraud Risk Management
  • Certifications: CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner)
  • BCom in Internal Auditing or Risk Management

3. Networks

  • BEng in Electrical, Electronic, or Telecommunications Engineering
  • National Diploma / BTech in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering
  • BSc in Computer Systems or Networking
  • Certifications: CCNA, CCNP
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Network Engineering or Wireless Communication

4. Customer Value Management (CVM)

  • BCom in Marketing, Economics, or Business Science
  • BCom in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence
  • BSc in Data Science, Statistics, or Mathematics
  • BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Analytics / Data Science / CRM
  • Certifications: SQL, Power BI, Python, R, CRM systems

5. Risk, Compliance, and Business Continuity

  • Bachelor’s in Risk Management, Risk Analysis, Internal Auditing, Governance, or Finance
  • Bachelor’s in Law, Compliance Management, or Crisis/Disaster Management

6. Marketing

  • BCom in Marketing
  • BA / BCom in Strategic Brand Management
  • BA / BDes in Interaction and Digital Product Design
  • BA / BCom in Marketing and Events Management
  • BA in Public Relations and Digital Media
  • Honours in Brand Management
  • BA in Media and Communications with Digital PR

7. Learning and Development

  • Bachelor of Communication Design (preferred)
  • Skills in Instructional Design, e-Learning Development, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and training design is an advantage

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a South African citizen (as per company policy).
  • Must have completed or be completing a Diploma or Degree in one of the listed fields.
  • Must demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must fall within the 18–35 age group, in line with youth development policies.
