📌 Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Previous experience working as a cleaner in a health or clinical environment

💪 Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

• Lift and move heavy equipment and cleaning supplies
• Work at heights using a stepladder
• Perform physically demanding cleaning tasks
• Operate industrial or heavy-duty cleaning equipment

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good conflict-handling skills
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and safety procedures

🧹 Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleaning of clinic areas including floors, walls, windows, and surfaces
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and scrubbing
• Cleaning toilets, drains, sluices, and waste areas
• Daily removal of refuse and cleaning of bins
• Proper handling, cleaning, and storage of equipment
• Assisting with general housekeeping duties such as linen care and patient support
• Following strict health and safety protocols when handling waste
• Attending in-service training sessions as required
